Proven Delivery, From First Scope to Handover
Thirty years and $870 million of major projects built the ASKON method. Procurement, scheduling, trades, quality and cost control, managed end to end with named leadership and complete accountability.
ASKON provides construction management, project management, and building management for commercial and residential clients. The firm is led by Mark Askew, whose delivery record includes the $300 million Myer Bourke Street redevelopment, the $250 million Flemington Racecourse grandstand, and major retail centres for Woolworths and Federation Centres. Every project runs on the same method: one accountable leader, a documented program, and reporting on progress, budget, and risk.
Three Ways to Put the Method on Your Project
Construction Management
End-to-end management of the build: procurement, scheduling, contractor coordination, quality assurance, and cost control. You make the decisions. We manage the execution and report to you on progress, budget, and risk.
Project Management
Owner-side management from feasibility through design, approvals, and delivery. One experienced leader representing your interests across consultants, authorities, and builders.
Building Management
Ongoing management of completed assets: planned maintenance scheduling, compliance auditing, contractor management, and risk reporting. Managed today, not repaired tomorrow.
The Record: $870 Million of Major Projects
Senior site and project management roles with ProBuild Constructions and Hacer Group, on some of Victoria's most demanding builds. Three generations of building experience.
Myer Melbourne, Bourke Street
$300 million, ten-level refurbishment of the Myer flagship. Delivered live, in a trading store, in the middle of the CBD.
Flemington Racecourse Grandstand
$250 million landmark grandstand and members' facility for the Victoria Racing Club.
Pakenham Market Place
$75 million shopping centre delivered in 46 weeks. The opening date held after 14 weeks of rain delays.
One Leader. A Documented Program. No Surprises.
Every ASKON engagement starts with the scope and the program. You see what will happen, when, and what it costs before work begins. As the project runs, you get regular reporting on progress, budget, and risk, and a direct line to the person managing it.
Mark Askew leads every engagement, backed by a coordinated network of trades, consultants, and specialists built over three decades. The method means the standard holds whether the project is a home renovation or a commercial development.
